Really Freakin Cool Final Fantasy Avatars

Damien Fate, sculpted, scripted, animated these insanely cool Final Fantasy summon spell character avatars. You can find these at his store Mirada. Hairspray (23, 65, 51)

Damien has made AOs for each avatar and each has a HUD where you can chose which spell you'd like them to cast, as well as change their appearance. You can make Shiva smile and Ifrit change skins.

Shiva's face is sculpted for perfection, and there is a choice of sculpted or flexi hair.

Sadly I must note here for all the fanboys, while Shiva's backside is indeed pert, her clothing is drawn on and you will not be seeing Shiva boobies.

You can view you tube demos at the main shop and I assure you they do look as good as the ads. :) Very cool.

Some Holiday Stuff at Gritty Kitty.

Bah-freaking-humbug. I'm so not feeling the Xmas joy this year, but I still put out some stuff. The cat scratch Xmas tree this year has an extra animation (that means 2!) Scratching and yarn ball ornament swatting.

And in front of the shop is a Snoam! Snoam (c) Rudra. That's what she called my old snow neko.

On the freebie wall in the entrance of my store, there is a free sculpted santa hat with the other freebies. You can match your snoam. If you want.
Even if I'm bleh about the holidays I hope everyone has a happy and safe one. :)

Meatloaf Patties with Smashed Taters

Finally! New foods! Today is a nummy (and healthy!) take on the age old classic of mashed potatoes and meatloaf. Meatloaf patties are topped with a pan gravy and served with smashed potatoes. This goes great with a tossed green salad and steamed carrots. Give yourself about an hour for prep and cooking.




Tools:

Knife
Skillet
Medium saucepan
large bowl
cutting board
Potato masher (or a strong fork)

Ingredients:

1 lb ground sirloin (Makes about 4 patties) 90% lean is best. Enough fat in the mix for flavor and cooking without clogging your arteries or thighs.
1 slice white bread, spread with softened butter, then cut into small cubes
1/8 C milk
1 egg
2 tsp coarse salt and pepper
1/2 tsp ground allspice
1 tbs tomato paste
1 medium onion, finely chopped, reserve 1/4 amount

2 lbs small red potatos
2 tbs butter or margerine or any other butter related stuffs
2 tbs fat free sour cream
2 scallions, chopped, whites and greens
1/2 c. milk

2 tbs butter
1 C (or one box) Sliced Mushrooms (Omit if you dont like them. It wont hurt anything)
1/4 medium onion, finely chopped, reserved from meatloaf mixture
handfull all-purpose flour
1 to 1 1/2 cups beef stock

Directions:

Quarter potatoes and cover with water in saucepan. Bring to a boil and cover. Cook till fork tender. While boiling...

Place meat in a large mixing bowl and create a well in the center of the meat. Fill the well with the bread cubes and dampen them with a splash of milk. Pour 1 beaten egg over bread and add seasoning or salt and pepper, allspice, tomato paste and onion to the bowl.

Combine the meat, bread, and salt and pepper and form mixture into 4 large oval patties 3/4-inch thick. Pan fry meatloaf patties in a nonstick skillet over medium high heat 7 minutes on each side. Remove meat loaf patties to a platter and return pan to heat.

When potatoes are done, turn heat under pan off; drain potatoes and return to hot pan and warm stovetop to dry potatoes out. Add butter, sour cream, scallions, and milk to potatoes and smash to your desired consistency. Season potatoes with salt, to taste.

Reduce heat to medium and add butter, mushrooms, and onion to your skillet. Cook 3-5 minutes and sprinkle pan with flour. Cook flour 1 minute and whisk in 1 cup beef stock. Bring broth to a bubble. If gravy is too thick, thin with additional stock. Add a little steak sauce to the gravy if you want to spice it up a bit.

Plate meatloaf patties and drizzle with gravy. Pile smashed potatoes along side and make a well in the center for sour cream or gravy. Serve meatloaf and smashed potatoes with baby carrots, or with a tossed salad dressed with oil and vinegar.

Wine might should try a Sauvignon Blanc, a soothe Merlot, or a Cabernet Sauvignon with this tasty dish.

Sometimes the content creator's vision of what's going on isn't the same as the publics. So I was puzzled by both the award and the tie, but I guess I do make punkish hair and I sell mouse butt. But beside any "zuuuh?"s on my part, I really do appreciate it. On behalf of Gritty Kitty, thank you very much. :3

Corporate Swag: Food Island

Back from the dead and ready to bring you the fine, fine swag you can pick up from the corporate influence in Second Life. Today I went to Food Island, which is sponsored by Kraft. I think that because there is a huge ass tower of Mac & Cheeze near the area where you TP.

Mmmm... Mac & Cheese.


If you turn the corner you can pick up the nifty free Santa avatar. He has a name tag that says Phil's on his chest, but you can accessorize and cover that up. Maybe with a big flashy bow or um.. uh... a fabulous chest burster by the lovely Fade Dana.








So what else is going on in this sim? Uh. Not much. You can view lots of boxes with textures on them and if you click on said boxes it asks you if you'd like more information. As intrigued as I was about Justice League teddy grams, unless that button shoots cookies out of my monitor, I'm not frigging clicking it.





There is a lot of these. a whole lot. I have a picture. A yep. Brochure browsing at it's finest. Kraft isn't a boring company, so this is disapointing. They had a site called u-starvin.com where they had videos of things being microwaved. Things like Gummi bears and Xmas lights. It's gone now >: ( so poop.

New @ Gritty Kitty

Schmoops are sculpted ladies shoes based off a picture of real shoes I found on the web that elka has awesomely identified as the mouse shoes by Marc Jacobs. These are color tint scripted to change the shoe color was well as the note and ear color so you can pretty much match them to anything.
Unlike the RL shoes these don't have whiskers... :( the picture I build them off of was crap. I didn't realize they were mouse shoes. I thought they looked like Shmoos. Squishface from that episode of Sealab 2021.


The totebag is copy only and scripted for 9 different texures. It also has a sculpted skull and Xbones pin and a kitty keychain on it. If you haven't noticed the kitty keychain is now on everything I've made since the kabuki skirt and each product has their special version of it. I collect qees IRL, so I wanted to make my own qee ISL. Kitty might get an update in blender.


And lastly, a freebie. I have put freebies near the entrance of my main store in Koreshan. They look like polaroids taped to the wall.

Up there now is a gritty kitty T-shirt and Totebag. The totebag is scripted for 2 arm animation holds.

I'm closing my shop at Koreshan because the game is royally hosed and I don't see any documentation that will help me explain to customers why their items are not showing up in their inventory.

I am also not getting IMs. I am not able to teleport to close satellite stores. I have no inventory or recent inventory.

Because I know that people will keep shopping even when the game is broken, thus adding to the freaking nightmare that is my offline INBOX, I am closing the mainshop.

I will reopen when the game works. And yes I will try to fix everyone's problems even though it wasn't my idea for the videogame's asset server to take a shit on a friday night.

UPDATE: The whole Koreshan sim is not connected to the main grid which is why there are all these problems. Don't shop there until it's been restarted. I can't restart it though.

I have manually delivered every item bought from my store in the past 6 hours. Do not buy from the koreshan location. It will only make me cry.

Maybe puke too.

さっそく行ってウロウロしていたら、Photoshop AFKというかわいいアイテムを発見しました。
busyやawayの時に画面とペンタブが現れ、画面にはskinの制作過程がアニメします。
sky boxでやってみたら、そもそもここ（一人空間）では必要ないことに気づきました。

最近、Hansode Miasma氏設計の建築物のTextureを作りましたが、建物全体の影を土台に落とすなどの実験をしたので、ひたすらPhotoshopしていました。だからちょうどこんな感じ。
MilcaさんやRamonaさんやeinさんがとてもきれいに建物の写真を撮ってくださいました。
Photoshopって英語では動詞になってるらしいですね

There is a store in Koenji that I have seriously been visiting everyday waiting for it to be open simply because it looked cool from the outside. See it does ----->





Today I went there and store owner Xiavy Voom, had some stuff out! Really nice messenger bags and hoodies with rabbit ears, but the thing that I really dig is the Okota.

You get 3 colors, a gray one (Skull), a pinkish one (Kenran) and the multi colored one you see pictured which is called Pop.


The table has 4 seats and each one has it's own pose. The blanket conforms to your body when you sit. It's freezing where I love IRL and just looking at this makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

You can get these at the Overdrive store in Koenji. Just from the few items Xiavy has out I can tell this is going to be one of my favorite stores to visit. Check it out. ^_^

Scarecrow Workshop is go!

Koreshan's build a scarecrow workshop is now on! From the 26th to the 31st the talented designers of Koreshan Pointe will have out their own unique scarecrow parts that you can scavenge the sim to find. Bring your finds to the workshop area and, with the base provided, assemble your unique Halloween display. Bring your friends and have a happy Halloween! This is an ongoing event all day every day until the 31st.

The obligatory Halloween post

Just when I thought I was going to recycle last years skelekitty costume, Toast Bard put out these amazing skins for halloween. You can get these at her Fashionably Dead satellite store in Cotton Candy Mall ( Russel Bay (222, 221, 27). They are on the back wall in the bottom vendor, which has some non halloween items in it.

These skins are made for girls, but I like them too! (Under the condition that I keep my shirt on at all times.) The above skin is called Head Off! It comes with eyes, skin, a gross neck attactment and a jacket layer of blood. It's a really nice sallow color that screams "I've been dead for a while and probably smell like rot and maggots. :D

The other skin I purchased there was Frozen. This comes with eyes, skin, and an attachment which gives you cold breath and makes you shiver and rub your upper arms.








I really dig this skin. It makes me think about Akira Kurosawa's movie "Dreams."

There are two stories in it that this skin reminds me of: The Tunnel and The Blizzard. Mostly because in the blizzard there is snow and in the Tunnel there are creepy blue soldiers. Yeah... it really has nothing to do with the skin, but the movie is great and I recommend it.

All in all I am insanely happy with my new skins. There are two other skins I didn't pick up, a witch and a Frankenstein girl (who came with a Frankenstein dog.)

Now, as I started before these are girl skins. I'm a femmy guy so that doesn't stop me from buying anything. If you really would like to see something scary though, here is a picture of me with my shirt off in Headless.
